Director's Selection runs from January 14 to February 14

To mark the new year, Lonsdale Gallery will celebrate the accomplishments of some of its artists from the past year.
In January,we will be showcasing the 'Director's Selection'- some of the favourite works as chosen by Lonsdale Gallery director, Chad Wolfond.
Please join us to honour the artistic acheivements of artists: Jamie Bradbury, George Boileau, Ray Caesar, William Mokrynski, Jerzy Kolacz,Jim Reid, David Salazar & Pedie Wolfond.

Lonsdale Gallery closed for approximately two weeks over the holiday season. During this time, we wanted to leave on display a piece which would incite conversation about art. George Boileau's sculpture "A History of Discourse" certainly did that.
In response to the questions we have received since its installation: Yes- the gun is a real .44 calibre, cap and ball, black powder revolver for its historical reference. The revolver has been officially deactivated and approved by the R.C.M.P.
